How did you find time to write a book?

Discipline.  I managed to write the book, self publish it, market it, design this site, and maintain six hospitality related blogs all while working full time.  I also have a fair amount of consulting work to keep me busy.  I have great friends and a very patient girlfriend who don’t seem to mind too much the fact that I am always carrying a legal pad or hopping on the computer to jot down note.  I tend to find a way to make the most of any spare time I have.  We all get 24 hours in a day; I just try to squeeze as much into each hour as I can.
